50 years ago it was called Al’s & Murph’s Bar with a lit up Hudepoll Bar sign out front ! My Dad and my two Uncles went there every night after work! They worked at the Chevrolet Plant in Norwood Ohio ! James , Dude and Junior Hamilton, does anyone remember them ? I used to have 2 friends and we played around there a lot ! Does anyone remember Micheal Blanchard or Timothy Boles ?

Love singing karaoke here with Aaron. The bartenders are always friendly and offer quick service. They have little beers here and at a great price!

Dive bar! Patrons are friendly. Awesome, friendly bartenders. Cheap drinks! Low key compared to being on the Covington strip. Nice break from the craziness. Stop in and say, Hi! to Kiel (pronounced Kyle.) Heads up... This place allows inside smoking. Just in case that's not your jam.

Happy Days has quickly become one of my favorite bars. A little off the beaten path of Mainstrauss, there is free pool Tuesdays and Fridays as well as karaoke on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. So, most nights of the week there is something to do. It also remains one of the few smoking bars left in Covington, which can be a positive or negative, depending on your preference. Kiel, the bar manager is an absolute treasure and gives prompt drinks and reasonable prices. He is always coming up with new shots and cocktails, so be sure to come down and ask about what he's made lately.
